Position Purpose or Objective
The responsibilities of the Manager/Sr. of Project Management, is provide strategic direction to organization, create and improve the project management systems, set up project goals, monitor and drive the team to achieve the goals.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Creating various tools and templates to build the project management practices in the organization
- Setting up the project management process and systems in the organization
- Setting the overall strategic direction for the organization
- Leading cross functional strategic forums with key stakeholders to ensure new initiatives are aligned with organization needs
- Leading all the communication activities to ensure the strategy understood and embraced across the organization
- Managing and providing direction for new processes, methodologies for various project management frameworks
- Leading continuous improvement activities to perform strategic assessments on development processes and provide recommendations to the management for approval
- Participating on project teams (e.g. Steering Committees, development Teams, launch teams etc.) for technology process related projects
- Lead and interface cross functional team activities for R&D development projects.
- Monitor the development projects, identify the critical path items and suggest the best possible plan
- Lead project management team responsible for tracking the progress of activities, identify the potential problems and proactively act on solutions to address them in advance
- Support management team in identifying the CMOs requirement for tech transfer of the development projects
- Guide the team in preparing the scope of the project required for CMO proposals, negotiate the quotes and finalize for management approval.
- Lead the teams responsible for execution of projects from inception to launch of the products


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Focus in excel with an ability to create and manage multiple large databases.
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to enter data accurately.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks well.
- Ability to facilitate resolution of client issues
- Must have advanced skills in Microsoft applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed
Education and Experience
- Minimum MS Degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Pharmacy or Equivalent with at least 8-10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- With PhD, at least 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- MBA in Project management added Advantage
