REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the Sr. Director, Sales Ops
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
% OF TIME FREQUENCY ESSENTIAL DUTIES

40%  Daily- Based on pricing business rules approved by the Pricing Committee implement pricing requests for New Business Opportunities, Meet the Competition, Short Dates, and One Time Buys.
20% Daily -With oversight from the Pricing Committee, maintain all pricing databases, including, but not limited to existing customer pricing, market pricing, standardized bid levels, floor pricing, etc.
10% Ad Hoc -Prepare pricing for customer RFPs to review with the Pricing Committee and develop pricing for new product proposals.
10% Monthly- Provide analysis to management and key functional areas on pricing trends and opportunities.
10% Daily- Utilize transactional systems of record whenever possible to ensure validity and reliability of data and analysis.
5% Monthly -Prepare, oversee and Implement WAC optimization strategy (WAC reductions) with approval from the Pricing Committee
5% Monthly- Prepare, oversee and implement pricing increases with approval from the Pricing Committee.



Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED & REQUIRED

Minimum of 2 year's previous contract and/or pricing experience preferred in the generic pharmaceutical sector that may include experience with generic manufacturers, wholesaler, distributors, etc. Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent direct experience. Strong understanding of generic pharmaceutical pricing metrics, customer classes of trade, and a general understanding of wholesale and retail pharmacy business. Strong analytical skills and the ability to organize large amounts of data, identify trends and provide market intuition. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse groups and areas of expertise. Ability to work independently, setting goals and driving deliverables. Must have previous hands-on knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc). Proven experience with ERP platform services such as Oracle or SAP. Experience w/ analytics and business intelligence tools preferred.
