The following are the duties and responsibilities.

MUST: Experience in real Formulation development of Immediate and Extended Release tablets/capsules
1. Development of Bio equivalent Immediate Release and Extended Release Tablets/Capsules formulations under guidance.
2. Conducting Preformulation and formulation development studies.
3. Development of Patent non-infringement dosage forms under guidance.
4. Review, Analysis of Patents and Design the formulation under guidance.
5. Design and Optimization of Manufacturing Process for Tablets and Capsules under guidance.
6. Manufacturing of Exhibit batches for ANDA Submission.
7. Technology Transfer of ANDA Products.
8. Manufacturing of Site Transfer Exhibit Batches for filing purpose.
9. Preparation of Manufacturing Batch Records, Packaging Batch Records for Exhibit Batches and Commercial Batches.
10. Preparation of qualification protocols and summary.
11. Preparation of Documents for Regulatory Submissions.
12. Review of Analytical Data/stability data generated during the development.
13. Handling of Equipments like High Shear Granulator, Fluid Bed Drier, GPCG, Blender, Compression Machine and Coating Machine etc.
14. Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

PERCENT OF TIME  FREQUENCY  ESSENTIAL DUTIES (List in order of importance – most significant first)

80% - Daily - Formulation Development activities
20% - Daily - Documentation

• Minimum Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Chemistry
• Minimum 3 years of experience pharmaceutical industry would be preferable
