It is the operator's responsibility to ensure that the Encapsulation Machine (Bosch /Ima Encapsulation Machine, Metal Detector, Room and are is clean and set up properly. Also to ensure quality produced capsules by adhering to the Production Batch Records instructions.
Essential Functions:
Operator's responsibility includes:
1. Clean and/or disassemble Encapsulation Machine after the completion of process run as per SOP.
2. Clean Manufacturing Room after the completion of product run as per SOP.
3. Set up encapsulation machine for run, including start up of batch and obtaining all capsule specifications as per instruction in Production Batch Record.
4. Maintain encapsulation machine in good working order, inspect presses for wear, and have any worn or malfunctioning parts evaluated and reported to Production Supervisor or Manager.
5. Maintain tools and supplies in proper condition.
6. Make any machine adjustments necessary during the batch run as required.
7. Document all set up and cleaning in the log book and other pertinent paperwork.
8. Visually inspect filled capsules as it is running to verify the machine is running within normal and safe operation.
9. Take in process physical measurements of capsules throughout the encapsulation run. Document these measurements in Production Batch Record and make sure they are meeting the specification of Production Batch Record.
10. Make minor adjustments as necessary to keep all physical characteristics of the capsules within specification.
11. Keep the encapsulation machine and the area clean during the production.
12. Make sure all paperwork is complete and accurate throughout and after run.
13. Inspect all shipments of new tooling to Client Pharma, LLC.
14. Keep accurate records of tooling usage and inspections.
15. Keep accurate files of tooling purchase requests and drawings for each size/shape tooling.
16. Clean, polish, and maintain tooling in good condition.
17. Recommend destruction and replacement of worn and damaged tooling.
18. Recommend purchase of new tooling sets.
19. Maintain an organized storage system for tooling so that it is protected
20. Keep all tools and equipment used to maintain and store tooling in good working order.
21. Perform any and all additional tasks relating to the operation of the manufacturing department as requested.
23. Physical Work Activities and Exposure:
A) Work is regularly performed inside in a manufacturing environment.
B) Exposure to dust, odor, noise, and fumes.
C) The noise level is usually moderate.
D) Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or
move up to 75 pounds.
E) Frequent sitting, talking, or hearing.
F) Use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects or controls.
G) Walk short distances. Clean and/or disassemble press after the completion of tablet run.

60%- Daily - To perform the manufacturing activities asper Production Batch Record and as per SOP's.
30% -Daily-To perform Major and Minor cleaning and set up according to Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) of the equipment and room.
5% - Daily - To calibrate the balances and scales according to SOP's
5% -Daily- To keep the department neat and clean.

Perform any and all additional tasks relating to the operation of the manufacturing department as requested.
And perform other duties as assigned
