The Story Behind RHO
RHO (pronounced “row”) was founded by two professionals who shared a passion for mathematics and computer science, connecting through a common interest in analytical thinking and solving complex problems. Inspired by the Greek letter ρ (rho)—often used in mathematics and science to represent relationships, measurement, and precision—they chose a name that reflects the thoughtful, analytical approach that has guided RHO since its founding in 1981.

Giving Back
At RHO, giving back means investing in the people and communities that strengthen our industry. Through volunteer leadership with the AFCEA Greater Monmouth Chapter, our team helps organize educational programs and networking events that foster collaboration between government and industry, helping agencies build stronger partnerships and advance their missions.
Our leadership also volunteers time mentoring professionals and students through career transitions—offering resume guidance, interview coaching, and career advice to individuals affected by workforce changes, while participating in university career panels and workforce development events.
